#421 [0.91 Preview 451/461] Component rendering broken

GameBugby @Kat1 year ago

This issue is present for me in both previews 451 and 461 of v0.91. Rendering of components appears to be completely broken, as are their thumbnails. An example: unknown.png

The logs provide no help, as this is a graphical issue and there are no related error/warning/info messages. I’m running this under Arch Linux 5.19.9-zen1-1-zen with the NVIDIA drivers on X11. I have an Intel i9-9900k and an RTX 2070.

I have no idea what the issue is, but this was not present in 0.90. I can always provide more information if needed!

HOPEFULLY this is fixed in 0.91 Preview 477 – can you confirm?

OK, I have confirmed with various users that the issue is resolved in Preview 485

I am having the same issue.

  • Void Linux 5.18.19
  • Wayland
  • AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
  • AMD Radeon RX 580

Also noteworthy, some things do render succesfully - switch levers, buttons, keys, chair, the flag part of a flag, and the text on labels and singers. Things not rendering seem to be cuboids like component bodies, pegs, blots, and the flagpole and probably a few others.

Also, the chair thumbnail does render, and the flag thumbnail does partially.

Figured a screenshot of the full component selection menu may be useful. Also glad to know I’m not alone!
