This week we have made a very difficult decision. Logic World will not be releasing on May 1st as planned, but on June 12.
Due to the global pandemic, as well as some unfortunate personal circumstances, this past month has been significantly less productive than usual for us. Logic World is far off from where we wanted it to be at this time.
We have by now settled into the new normal, and are back to our regular levels of productivity. This is why, barring any additional global disasters, we are confident in the June 12 release. We will of course continue to post weekly updates on our progress right up until release day.
You might believe that we should push out the unfinished, undermarketed Logic World for May 1st anyway, and add the planned 1.0 content in future updates. This is something we’ve considered heavily. But after two and a half years of work, it just doesn’t seem right to choose an underwhelming launch.
We always try to do what’s best for Logic World. That’s why we take so much care to polish features; that’s why we’ve chosen such a low price for the game; that’s why we’ve turned down offers from publishers. Yet another delay is sad news, but in the long run, it’s what’s best for this game.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for caring about Logic World. We are so proud of it, and we can’t wait to share it with you on June 12.
