Lazy Connect

When building large structures in Logic World, you typically have to connect a ton of wires. Currently, the game only lets you connect wires when there’s a direct line of sight with the object you’re trying to connect - this is fine for shorter distances, but at longer ones or when you can’t quite see the right pegs, this can get quite annoying. Now, yes, when something’s too far away you can just zoom in, but this doesn’t solve the whole problem.

I propose that Logic World take a page out of node wrangler’s book, with Lazy Connect! Here’s how that would work. When selecting/connecting/removing objects, instead of checking if your crosshair is directly on the object, check if it’s directly on it or a little bit off. This should be configurable in the settings, and an option for it to scale with depth would be nice. That’s it! I think this would be a good QoL change.

If it helps you, there is a mod “DisableCollision” which you can use to clip wires (and components) through everything.
Which you could use and then fix the wires by moving things around afterwards.

I agree the wire building mechanics need significant improvements! I’m hoping to get to that for update 0.92. Thank you for the ideas :D
